Single Facer Production Process For Carton Boxes

Single facer is the hart of the corrugated cardboard production line, about the cardboard quality problems which are caused by single facer, as below:

Corrugated cardboard wrapping

The cardboard wrapping is a problem which happens offenly. It will affect the printing quality. Because of the cardboard wrapping, when the carton goes into the printing machine, it can not be position correctly. Then the printing precision and slotting will be affected. And the reason of cardboard wrapping is the moisture in papers is difference or the thickness of the papers are difference.

If the cardboard is upward wrapping, it means the corrugation paper moisture is bigger than core paper. If the cardboard is downward wrapping, it means corrugation paper moisture is less than core paper, or the core paper unit weight is bigger than corrugation paper.

When the cardboard is upward wrapping, then turn on the pre heater for corrugation paper and turn off the pre heater for core paper, if still wrapping, can spray water on the paper to make corrugation paper and core paper are in same mositure.

When the cardboard is downward wrapping, adopt opposite method. About one hour later, the cardboard will be straight.
