Working Principle of Single Facer

The single facer involves paper guiding roller, pre heating roller, upper and lower flute roller, pressure roller, cylinder, and lower pre heating roller, it work with the gluing roller, glue form roller, glue plate to be gluing mechanism.

The corrugated paper tension force is adjusted by the paper guide roller, the upper pre heating roller control the temperature, the paper go into the gap of upper and lower flute roller, and the flute roller is heated by stem, the corrugated paper is forming here, then go to the gap between the gluing roller and lower flute roller to coating glue on the paper, then glue forming roller forming the glue coat on the paper, then the corrugated paper come to the gap of the two pre heating roller to control the moisture of the paper, finally go to the pressure roller to finish dry and adhesive. Then the 2 layer corrugated cardboard is completed.

The whole process involves pre heating, fluted, gluing, heating glue, dry and adhesive, the steam heater is for supplying the heat for single facer.

The key of the whole process is after flute roller, the corrugated paper have to be stick on the lower flute roller to achieve glue coating on the paper, or it maybe delamination, high and low corrugation, jumping corrugation, paper breakage, wave edges, and inverted corrugation
