Lubrication Characteristics of Carton Machine

The working environment of carton machine is humid and high temperature, and some carton equipment is accompanied by impact load. Therefore, the selection of lubricant mainly considers its emulsifying resistance, water resistance, thermal oxidation stability and load resistance. Lubrication points in paper machines are closed in principle. The bearings in the wet section of the paper machine from headbox to press section are all sealed bearing shells to cause cross-contamination by waterproof immersion and grease overflow. In the dry section of paper machine, the central lubrication station is used to transport lubricating oil to bearings for lubrication and heat dissipation because of the high temperature during operation. Lubrication station in dry section of paper machine is usually selected in standard general model. It is better to have strong oil filtering ability and oil temperature control ability. It is more suitable to have magnetic filter and constant temperature control. The amount of oil transported to the lubrication station should normally be calculated according to the heat dissipation requirements of each lubrication point.

The adjustable oil injector, also known as drop valve, is used to supply oil to the sealed bearing shell in the dry section of paper machine, which makes the oil supplied to the bearing suitable and continuous.
