Introduction of Flute Type of Corrugated Carton

Flute is the corrugation type of the corrugated cardboard, it is classified by the flute size, density and characteristics, its type can be difference, but as per the GB6544-86 (corrugated cardboard standard), all flute type has to be UV shape.

Normally, there are 4 types of flute in  A, B , C, E.

A flute: its characteristic is fewer flutes in unit length and in bigger height of flute. It is suit for packing things which is easy to broken.

B flute: it has same quantity flute in unit length with A flute, the its flute height is smaller, then it is suit for packing heavier and harder things, B flute is stronger and not easy to break,  then it is good for making complex shape cartons and boxes.

C flute: its flute height and quantity is between the A flute and B flute, its performance is near A flute, then it can save cost of store and transport, C flute is popular in Europe.

E flute: it has more flute quantity in unit length and the flute is small and hard. The carton with E flute is good buffering performance. It has a better appearance  on the slotting cutting, smooth  surface, it is also can be offset printing.
