The technical of carton printing

By now, the carton printing is mainly adopt flexo printing. In China there is about 70% corrugated cardboard printing is flexo printingm, and in Europe and America, it can be 85%.  The printing technical can be classified in two kinds, one is direct printing, it means printing on the cardboard directly which is creasing and cutting. The other technical is pre printing, printing on the paper firstly, and then use the printed paper to produce corrugated cardboard.

The direct printing is a main method for corrugated cardboard printing. It includes flexo printing and offset printing, and the flexo printing is popular.

Flexo printing plate and water base ink, to finish printing by the anilox printing roller, it has dry fastly, high speed, low cast advantage, special good for the corrugated cardboard printing. To adopt the water ink to be instead of oil ink is a revolution of printing.

For corrugated cardboard printing, there is another method is wire mesh printing, the wire mesh printing width can be bigger and smaller, simple to make printing plate, low cost, thicker ink, strong visual effect, but the image accuracy is low, it is not suitable to produce big quantity corrugated cartons because of its low efficiency.
