C) Printing Department

The printing department is the key part of the printing press. According to the number of colours that can be printed at one time, it can be divided into several printing departments. The main parts of the printing department are printing roller (for plate installation), ink roller (or scraper), mesh roller (metal or ceramics), etc. Relative movement (horizontal or up and down) can be carried out between different color groups to ensure plate replacement and cleaning.

D) ink recycling system

Usually, pneumatic pump is used to complete the circulation of the ink. The disadvantage of this system is that the ink loss is large and the time is long when changing colors. At present, a Japanese manufacturer has developed a non-circulating system, which uses pressure-switching (boosting when inking, decompressing when recycling) to reduce ink exchange time and ink loss greatly.

Paper dividing, pressing and grooving machine

Paper dividing is to divide the cardboard according to certain specifications with rotary blades. Line pressing is to crush the folding place of the carton through the line pressing wheel, which is easy to fold. Slotting is to remove the redundant cardboard from the lid and lap tongue of the carton. Generally speaking, wire-pressing slotting machine can complete cardboard slitting, indentation, slotting and other processes at one time, and some equipment can also be equipped with perforating devices. For high-grade printing presses, the slotting part is usually configured after the printing department.
