Common Problems in Corrugated Cardboard Production Line - Flute Problems

Common Problems in Corrugated Cardboard Production Line - Flute Problems

1. The height of the flute teeth is not enough, which may be due to low pressure or temperature, or high moisture content of the paper. The solution is to adjust the pressure or roller temperature, or reduce the corrugated cardboard production line speed to allow the paper to dry.

2. The flute teeth height is uneven, and the length of the pressed corrugated paper on both sides is different, forming a fan shape. This is due to poor parallelism of the corrugated roller or uneven pressure at both ends. If the left corrugated paper is shorter than the right, the left side of the upper corrugated roller should be raised appropriately, otherwise the adjustment should be reversed.

3. Corrugated paper is curled into a cylindrical shape, mainly due to the large temperature difference between the upper and lower rollers. The working condition of the heating source inside the upper and lower rollers should be checked. Perhaps one of them has a malfunction and can be repaired or replaced.

4. The corrugated paper is adhered to the surface of the corrugated roller. This phenomenon often occurs when the roller surface temperature is too high or the moisture content of the base paper is too high. At this point, the temperature of the roller surface should be adjusted to allow the paper to dry before creasing. If the scraper does not fit the roller groove, it should be adjusted or replaced.
